Welcome to Lane, South Carolina!

The Town of Lane, established in 1856, is a small farming community located between the Santee and Black Rivers. It is on the main north-south CSX railroad line and is close to Lake Moultrie and Francis Marion National Forest. Lane is located in Williamsburg County. Our town is known for its friendly hospitality. Lane has also been known as a railroad town. Having access to the railroad system, businesses can easily ship products to and from our town. The town of Lane is moving into the next century!

The Town of Lane is proud to announce that it has received a grant for the second phase of the sewer project.

The annual Stag Festival will be held Friday, September 18- Sunday, September 20, 2015. Come out and let's enjoy this wonderful event!
